This Finger Lakes Fall Foliage Rail Trip has been opened to the general public as well as to convention attendees. Convention attendees can register for the rail trip when they register for the convention, the general public is invited to register and attend the Northeastern Region National Model Railroad Association convention.

General Public Purchase Tickets for Finger Lakes Rail Trip Only!!

Bring $40 cash (no check or credit card) to the train ride itself and purchase your ticket as you board the train. Train will board at 8:30 am on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Home Depot in Camillus on Milton Ave. It is too late to order a box lunch for the ride, but there will be snacks and beverages available for purchase on the train. The train will return at approximately 3:00 pm.

Our trip on the former New York Central Auburn Branch, operated by Finger Lakes Railway, loads at 8:30 AM on Saturday September 21. Free parking is available at the loading site (Home Depot Camillus on Milton Ave). The train will proceed west for three hours, towards Geneva, NY, with a photo run-by (weather permitting) at the Central NY Chapter NRHS restored Martisco Station. The train will then reverse direction, returning to Solvay at 3:00 PM. Box lunches from Panera Bread will be

available for pre-sale ($15.00) on the Convention website only. (the pre-order for box lunches is now closed) A café car with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be open throughout the trip. Tickets are $35.00 per person for convention attendees, $40 for non-attendees. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be in accordance with the NER Refund policy.  The trip runs rain or shine. We regret the train is not wheelchair accessible.
